I’m very much looking forward to seeing her and driving her although I’m 3 weeks from that because she has to go for paint correction, PPF, and inconel exhaust system..... Now, I must be fair; I’ve learned in the last hour that the dealer is NOT at fault, but was blamed by others....
Do love the 812’s design. But the wonky painted diffuser problem has not been rectified, based on this recent example. And that still challenges me. Only solution seems to be going for the optional carbon diffuser.
Based solely on the examples I have seen, my answer is yes - looks like CF diffuser is aligned. All have been aligned on those I have seen. Whereas as many (not all) painted diffusers appear to drop a little to the left. Have also seen a black (non CF) diffuser drop fractionally to the right. The latter example can be seen at HR Owen Ferrari Atelier at the Berkeley in London. One qualification- I have not seen anywhere near as many CF diffusers as I have seen painted diffusers.
If you use a tape measure you will see even the CF is a tiny bit off at least at my car. But from a look you hardly can see it. For now I‘m busy with driving this beautiful car. Possibly the dealer can adjust it easily when I‘ll put on the summer tires. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
You can spec it in black at no extra cost. Ferrari is recommending this if a wonky diffuser is likely to drive you nuts.
Not the only solution. Mine was also slightly tilted to the left when delivered. Ferrari does have a fix for this. Ask your dealer. They straightened it perfectly with certain type "washers" or something to that effect that they use on one side (washers came from Ferrari) and it got all squared away. Ask your dealer about this and if they're not aware of this fix tell them to contact their Ferrari rep about it.

Have you guys heard or seen that 812s are all of a sudden much easier to order and get then before or is it just my imagination? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In italy there is a 16 month waiting list, at my dealer there was one that I client decided to give up and 2 other clients have been "fighting" for it so I don't know if is now easyer to get it.
In thailand ,I ordered end of jan,got confirmation for May Line production and hopefully i will see the car by August which is total around 7 months..I am guessin every country wait time is different due to allocations? All the best all
Not old, just normal tastes... I can understand matte black for the F-117 look, but matte blue or matte red (Seen on a ferrari) just looks like plastic used to make toys...
I’m in CA so US market in general was my reference point. Mine is in production with June as the expected delivery date. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mine is apparently June but could get delayed till after August as they take their one month break. Good luck with yours and let’s share pics when we get our 812s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My UK dealer tells me they are still sold out, they have a waiting list for cancellations and haven't had one cancelled order yet.
