I saw this one a few weeks back while searching for some pre-owned Ferrari's. I have no connection to the car or dealer. It seemed like a great price for an OTO even with the 20K mileage https://www.porschearlington.com/used/Ferrari/2008-Ferrari-612+Scaglietti-970f54aa0a0e0ae71ba6c3c2dd5d1272.htm
There are issues with it but I am not sure if they are significant enough that they should turn me away... first, the electro chromatic roof is not working; second, it needs a major service. Thoughts?
My distant memory is that roof fix was about $20,000. I had seen that car online. Definitely a different price point than other OTOs. Have you seen it?
I am heading down to see it later in the week and am trying to arrange to have a DC area master tech to give a PPI.
Here's a relatively local one in NY: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/2009-612-oto-29k-mi-137-750.596032/
If you like the following car I can reach out to the owner and see if he still would like to sell it. I was representing it back in the fall https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/reduced-99k-2007-ferrari-612-scaglietti-w-hgts-package.588023/#post-146321877
That would be great. It gorgeous and is really well optioned but isn't that still a high price given the mileage? I thought 20k in Ferrari years was a lifetime?
i don't think 20K is a lifetime, especially not for 612s. i believe the engine is regarded as relatively trouble-free and the cars in general are reasonable with regard to maintenance costs. i would imagine that mileage matters most for special edition, collectable cars. that's not the 612. it's a GT car now several generations old. it should be expected to have issues from time to time, but also give a great deal of performance at an approachable price point.
There is also this one. It was manufactured in Oct. 2007 so I guess it has the upgraded ecu but it does not seem to have the handling package. They sent me pictures of the dash near the window in response to questions about the leather. https://mobile.penskecars.com/for-sale/used-2007-ferrari-612_scaglietti-2dr_coupe-phoenix-az-8605176.html Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
i am obviously not impartial, but i think mine is worth consideration as well: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/2006-612-hgts.598872/
How many miles have you added since the original listing? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
pretty much none- it's still at 175xx i believe. i can give an exact number this evening if you'd like. the original listing says i bought in 2016 but on further thought i think it was actually summer of 2017- apologies for that error (and for misspelling scaglietti right off the bat, ugh).
Hello, we have this 612 OTO https://www.cncexotics.com/details-2010-ferrari-612_scaglietti-2dr_coupe-used-zff54jba8a0175542.html
