    Condition it irrelevant for Classiche certification, what classiche certifies is that the car is what it was when it was made and retains the same configuration. IE its a 360 CS, not a 360 with a bodykit. And that it has the same mechanical specifications and be complete
    A car doesn't even have to have the original engine, as long as it has the correct type of engine. Exterior colour can be different too, although both are noted in the paperwork. Most people try to present their cars in the best possible condition for classiche assesment because the photographs taken end up in the classiche "book" but the barnfind (ex Japan ) alloy Daytona auctioned at the 70th Anniversary in Maranello was pretty well rooted and after 40 years of storage but as still eligible for classiche certification.

    I doubt the person whom gets a (nice?) 360 for under a hundred grand cares.

    I once paid $100k-ish for a new BMW which I subsequently sold three years later for $45k.
    No matter what, that will not happen with this car.
    What's not to like?
