I'm just trying to wrap my head around pay that for what I would say is a $100-110k example.

But supply and demand. On a long enough horizon he won't be complaining.

Oh for sure. I think it was terribly bought, by people with more money than (sense + Ferrari market knowledge). It's a $110K car all day long, but there is something in the water over at BaT. Is it fiftysomethings with too much time on their hands sitting around lobbing moneybombs at nice+ cars? There was a five or eight thousand or so mile '88 M3 that went for $250K a couple months ago. Utterly nuts.

I am starting to regret not buying the 355 twin of my 348, tbh.

The only problem with a lot of sellers with F355s, they don't understand the intervals for service..

San Francisco sports car is a very reputable seller in the Bay Area. Brad is a former GM of Ferrari of SF. Great guy.

It’s a big project car to get it back to shape. It’s missing many authentic parts.

but was raced in the series. # 75 by Benny And Alfred Caiola Wide World of Cars

    1996, 1997, 1998, 1999

you can find that info and more in the Challenge Section / Records Pinned Thread.

Sold for $88K on BaT no less, the home of overly optimistic bidders. And now it's up for a quick $27K flip, after you factor in BaT fees.

Yeah, the reason I passed on that car wasnt the price. As a Challenge car I wanted it to be Challenge spec and ready, and I found the modifications disqualifying. And way too expensive to revert.

From here on out, anyone listing a 355 for less than $100k gets banned.

j34 said he was putting his yellow gated GTS up there a couple weeks ago. Given that recent GTS sale its a no brainer to try that route to get at least what he’s looking for.

I’m sure they have a backlog so I’m curious how long it takes from the time you call them to the time your auction starts.

Mine is in the cue. Probably listing in a week or so. We will see how much the F1 impacts price.

Couple of nice gated GTBs in the classified section now. Those, along with the GTS (allegedly) coming soon to BAT will be interesting data points.

Everyone seems to be trying to cash out on the apparent spike in values. Will it last or will more come to market?

I think it is a true upward roll from here on. They are old enough now and tick all the boxes. Interest rates are in the celler. Free money for many. Cabin fever pushing everyone to realize their dreams sooner than later as life is apparently very short...
