    Thank you Eric and Daniel (if it was my photo you were referring to, but m5shiv's picture is stunning!). I was very very lucky with the light and the mist. I love the mountains in winter! And it helps that Pininfarina designed such a beautiful car.

    All cars should have these engine ventilation louvers (or what you call it). It really helps to get the heat out of the engine compartment . The ones on the 456 are really discreet and looks great!

    Yes, but perhaps better be dead than survived with seatbelt in that little piece of car (no roof, no real crash zone, ...).

    He was (and is) a legend for us older guys.
    The todays youth don't know him.

    Curious that the co driver was threw out of the car and Jimmy not, it these informations are correct.
    But I think the seat belts from this era weren't real seat belts.

    I think James Dean would have had the same career like Steve McQueen.
