F8 Order Status

Car is still at port waiting for PDI to be completed. Ferrari is just now updating status. I wish I knew what the procedure was. No one seems to know

Got the update this week from my SA that my car is now status 91. A friend of a friend F8 shipped out a week before mine did (Aug 2) at same the dealer. He was told car his car is in route to the dealer now so maybe there is some movement at the NJ port finally?

 

Hi, just got my spec locked, the app updated to show my VIN and a stock image of a yellow spider. Not sure how long after a VIN appears till another update but I’m glad I got the VIN!

Car remains idle at port. Dealer said we are about week out from delivery. Keeping fingers crossed. Port says they have no delays, it must be whatever logistics company Ferrari uses creating the backup.

Air quotes are done at status 70, you must request it before that point. It does not need to be done before allocation is given. I’ve flown 2 cars in the last 2 years. One I requested air freight when the car was status 30, the other I had requested a quote when it went 10R. Both cases they let the factory know, factory responded that a quote will come at status 70.

Air from Milan to LAX in June 2022 was $33k.

Lol negative. I don’t think anyone is in a rush to deliver.

I saw an F8T being prepped for delivery in Virginia the end of last week. So gorgeous.

 

my friends f8 will be delivered this week msrp 524k nd its a tributo,i think im more excited to see it than him

 

wow … $524K MSRP Tributo …almost a quarter million in options. I’m looking forward to seeing this.

Car mentioned above (tributo) that was shipped a week prior to mine was delivered Friday. That said, Still no further update on my car that remains at 91……..

 

He must have ticked every single carbon option. Good for him! Maybe the most expensive build?

he did he was like a kid when ordered,painted shields,all blue carbon everything in and out of the car,even the engine compartment all blue carbon amazing spec pics comming soon

What is the longest anyone has had or heard of a car sitting at status 91. Mine has been there since November 5 with zero updates. While I sat patiently at 90 since the first week of august I’m actually starting to get a little frustrated. I would think Ferrari would want these cars delivered for q4 financials?

 

Heard back now at 92 finally so just waiting on transport for who knows how long. At least I know it’s not a parts issue or defect holding up the car……
