If you planning to buy one now is the time before spring/summer, before people start to realise 812comp are selling at 2m dollars ( they sell at that price in europe and us).a delivery mileage tdf in the us ( grigio silverstone) was just listed at about £1.4m.

    That’s a great deal for a 700 mile TDF!

    Interesting Auction.

At first it was a no sale and then it came together a couple of hours later.

I though that this car was cheap given the providence. I am not sure about the emissions and which countries it could be sent to though.

This car is a pre-series. Does anyone understand what exactly that means an why it sels so cheap compared to a regular tdf?

My understanding is that it cannot be registered anywhere appart from Somalia… but I may be wrong.

Is this price inclusive of taxes? And do you know how much the commission is? Well under the estimate

From the terms and conditions of sale on the website it says the final sale prices includes taxes ( vat) and the buyer agree to pay the buyer’s tax at 19.2% so i assume the total purchase price is the whatever the final sale price will be ( which includes taxes) plus 19.2%

where did you see that it hasn't sold?
I followed the auction and the car was sold in my understanding

by the way the high bid was 1.075.000€

It shows “passed” rather than sold on the website so i assume it did not meet reserve
1075000 +premium means high bid was in excess of 1.2mm euros ( nearly £1.1mm). The seller was probably expecting around 1.3mm eur plus premium

It wasn’t sold. Artcurial has a specific sentencing. When they sell the car they say « adjugé », when not sold They say « j’adjuge » , it’s like saying « I close the bids » when not sold and « I accept the bid » when sold.
The car was not sold at 1,075M€

btw no-one was willing to offer more than 1,075M€ that is more or less the same money offer for the last two Tdf auctioned in Arizona and Munich
I don't consider the yellow one of Paris since can't be registered anywhere except Somalia as somebody said above

One thing is that car was supplied in Sweden which for a french collector might be less desirable and could easily justify a 10 to 20% discount compared to a french supplied car. In the UK a HK supplied car would sell at a large discount to a UK supplied car. There is one delivery mileage white tdf for sale at £900k which is HK supplied that tells me that a nice delivery mileage UK supplied would be above £1mm
For comparison in Germany a red tdf with a few thousands km was just advertised at 1.3mm eur, and its red which is less sought after by collectors
