I have no idea. They look brand new. My buddy threw them in with a large chunk of memorabilia I bought from him in the fall. you’re welcome to try them if they are what’s needed? maybe someone can chime in if this is what you’re looking for.
Larry, Here is an old thread on the topic: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/how-many-use-a-special-wrench-for-their-knock-off-wheels.297995/
correct, these are made by a newer company, I meant, would they work to accomplish Larry's goal of off/on
I have the "Oldtimers" and have to say it is better than other similar sockets I have used. It is well built and light. Best of all, it's made so it cannot slip off. john
It isnt just a 7.5" X 15" Borrani it is specifically the RW 4542 that you have there which is one of the wheels offered on this page. https://www.borrani.com/ferrari-wheels/365-gtb-4-daytona.html actually just looking at this web page we havent done a good job of this page. It is going to need some work.
While I made my own design sockets for both, the three-eared & octagon nuts, long ago and I’m happy with them, I will look into acquiring one of theses if a need arise.
Will the Oldtimers tool fit my 1972 knockoffs Does it mar the knockoff I always used a piece of hard wood and a lead hammer with my GTC
This tool is probably the best tool you can buy to use with your knock offs. It will not mark your spinners. A lead hammer will for sure! Even using a piece of hardwood would not protect your rim when you miss the hardwood. Before I bought this tool I used a mallet like this. But I still damaged a Cromodora when I slipped off the nut.
