Count at least one for me. I'd like to keep this car for a long time and I might get to the point where working a clutch is too demanding for me when I'm an old. Hope not, but I'd like the option to go back to F1 if that becomes the case.

Possibly the dealer was wrong, but I believe the dealer over Art Bartosik. YMMV.

Trev360 never made a single promise to me as to e-diff functionality after conversion, nor did he communicate to me that the e-diff was no longer functioning. These were EAG converted cars, with a specific scope of work and claims made BY EAG, such as the car will function better than OEM. Trev wasn't even involved in the scope of work nor the contract.

I believe I posted my contract in this thread, you are certainly free to look through and find it. If I'm mixing up threads, I'd be happy to post it.

Actually, there are some old comments posted on other threads were owners never received their OEM F1 parts back. You can look for those.

I didn't even know Trev was involved until they were at my home doing the conversion. So Trev has absolutely no responsibility to me, only to EAG. GC's are where the "buck" stops. Even if he made a mistake, which I don't think he did, it's EAG's responsibility as the GC. Maybe stop bringing Trev into the discussions when defending EAG? Just a thought.

Thank you. Makes more sense now. At a high level, electronically the TCU is effectively disabled but the E-Diff does require a wiring change because another module sends signals to it when the car is manual.

For background: I mapped all of this out in 2016 for the first known manual conversion (F430). When people mention E-Diff problems and TCU deletes it doesn't make sense to me.

    Thanks again.

I have no idea. I could see there being the case where the parts were just held onto because nobody asked for them though.

I'm assuming here, but I think the point was that you shouldn't have to ask for your parts back. They should be neatly packaged and with your car upon pickup. Maybe it's just me, but I'm skeptical of shops that hold onto your parts without question. Especially if they have value.

I don't know either way as I wasn't a customer. Just pointing out that there's a case where someone might want to go back is all.

I can. 22 pages here, bud. We're running out of stuff to talk about. Basically went full circle from the pros/cons of a conversion to e-diff to tuning, back to EAG for a brief moment, then I lost track. I think we're due discussing which oil type to use :D

I got all my parts back wrapped up nicely in a "free" green tote. Guessing that didn't happen for everyone?
