It would be very interesting to see 60’s or later pics of 0095S just to check the colours of the lights in the nose…

It would be very interesting to find any CONFIRMED notes or photos of somewhat mysterious cars like, 0073/S, 0095/S, 0099/S, 0119/S, 0125/EL, 0127/E... Sales contracts, register documensts, service records, ANYTHING! 0125/EL and 0119/S exists as rebodies, all the rest have disappeared without a trace.

    0073 S is not a Vignale.
    0119 S is not a rebody.
0125 EL has been rebodied twice, and then recently reunited with the second body.
    Nothing mysterious.

0091 S has changed ownership a couple years ago. No longer Peterson.

But what about the 80´s pics of 0119S in your Ferrari by Vignale’s book ? The body is completely different from what we see today.

Long time owner Umberto Camellini in 1990 has replaced SOME body panels but not the entire body and the nose was corrected as well. This happened from 1990 to 1998.
It is not an entire new body. Restoration pix in my archive.
After 26 years of storage at Mario Camellini's warehouse (1963 to 1989) his son Umberto Camellini got it 7 June 1989 and he is the 4th owner, 0119 S has always remained in Italy.
The two bw pix on page 96 of my book "Ferrari by Vignale" were taken by Peter Coltrin in 1964 in the Camellini warehouse.

"Some body panels" = everything except doors? I do agree that the doors look exactly the same as they looked in 1951.

You may want to produce a pic showing 0119 S in 1951.........
From 1990 to 1998 the top of the rear fenders, the C-Pillars and rear window, and the front of the car, have been corrected, as per color pix in my archive.

Isn't that what I just said: everything except doors!? It is quite safe to presume that the body modification was made by Vignale in period of 1953-54. Restoration is quite well done, much better than most jobs of equal caliber.

Regarding 0073S, it's a little off-topic but I think it's the Touring number 3457, then a 166 Inter Touring Berlinetta built in 1950 and sold new in Italy.

I would think so, eventually sold to Berlingieri in Genova. I was told that Touring ledgers were destroyed when the company ceased to exist, so a 100% reliable source on Touring production does not exist. This explains lot of the uncertainties we've had to face over the years, but fortunately it has been confirmed that 0055/S was a Ghia so it seems clear that 0073/S was the missing Touring no.3457.

Which two-tone painted 212 Inter Coupé Vignale was entered by Achille Stazzi at the 13 September 1953 Coppa Intereuropa in Monza with race number 51 ? It wasn't 0223 EU.
It had Milan plates. Does anybody have a better quality rear photo?

One of the big mysteries is a Vignale owned by Gino Casarotto in 1953. Must have been registered in Venice (VE), serviced at the factory in June 1953 or so and then sold off and exported before Casarotto bought himself a later Vignale (0147E). Serial number must be somewhere around 0081..0091..0101 with suffix S.

    You forgot the photo..........

    Casarotto acquired 0147 E 23 March 1954.
    0081 S is a Touring.
    0101 S is a Ghia.

Now the below is sort of a headache.
RHD car (hence it should be 0257 EU).
Taken at Camellini's in Modena, year unknown, assume 1953/1954. Two-tone painted.
Has an Italian plate from Brescia "BS" but unreadable number unfortunately.
Has air intakes below the headlights. 0257 EU did not have air intakes.
