Do you guys ever have crazy dreams and wonder what they mean?

Yes and no. Yes, I have crazy dreams, but no, I don't wonder what they're about. I don't attach a lot of significance to what goes on in my brain while I'm asleep. It's all nonsense.

I still ponder this one from time to time....
( I posted this in a "scary dreams" thread about 6 months ago)

 

not weird ones but really vivid dreams....I had one last night of an abusive step mom and I remember how hard it was to tell my dad because he cared about her. She would try to fight me and yell and when I told my dad he would break down...in the end he sided with me. Dreams are soooo weird.

The worst are when you are trying to run and you only go in slow motion, or when you are trying to fight someone off and you can only punch really slow

ohhhh, i have dreams, gooooood ones. i guess they mean sometimes they come true, like when i scored with pam anderson and carmen electra at the same time. that happened just yesterday. but last night i drempt that ajs328 sold me his crappy 328 for 8500 cash and then he was ass raped by a horny ape with a case of crabs.

You were just having flashbacks of the party at Bruce's...... Carbon doesn't have crabs though.

I have dreams all the time of dead family. And then of the future. I see my dad & grandmother all the time in our last house. It's a comfort to know they are still present in me. What is a soul anyway?

 

a lot of times dreams are a way of connecting w the spiritual realm

 

ive had this reoccuring dream where a bald headed guy on a motorcycle chases me into my old house in NY. Then ties up all of my family as I am about to fight him, i wake up. Then if i fall back asleep it repeats all over again. I never see the end. Really pisses me off.

One really vivid dream i have was after i saw Jurassic Park for the first time ( i was about 6) i was in my bed in my room and the T-Rex bursts through my window, eats my brother. i hide behind the bookcase but the finds me and gets me by my leg. He lets me go and i watch him walk into the horizon.

 

I find that my dreams are almost directly linked to how much stress I'm under. Generally when I am experiencing a high stress load in my life my dreams become exponentionally more violent and vivid. I also agree with you about the ones where you are trying to run and you are moving in slow motion. But the absolute worst are when you are trying to monkey stomp the chit out of someone and it feels like you are punching in slo-mo with nothing behind the punch.

 

I cant stand that...almost as bad as trying to run in slow mo

See thats the problem it's usually the slow-mo running that causes me to turn and say "**** it I'm gonna monkey stomp it's ass" then you start throwing punches like a 2 year old girl.

I have a dream to bring back public hangings, that will straighten out the world in a hurry!

Of course I would be first, so I'm glad it's only a dream.

I was actually thinking of opening up a thread on wacky dreams. A couple of nights ago I dreamt that it was the end of the world. I was with my wife, my parents and my grandparents and we were all very nervous and basically just waiting for everything to end for all of us.

One of the things that I remember is that as we were walking through some dirt streets we noticed a very large group of people praying and having like their regular church services and all, but the absolute WEIRDEST and/or funniest (or scariest) thing is that as we were walking through those same streets, I saw a couple of red Ferrari 355 GTSs that were in flames and I just very casually pointed them out to my father and said, "look dad, two Ferraris"...

Funny thing is that I didn't see any of my friends or the rest of my family, but I did see two Ferraris... LOL... I think I need to take some time off from FChat
