150 in a Mondial QV 3.0 on a road in britain 165 MPH in 360 on a toll road in france 169 MPH in 360 verified by a Radar Gun at the end of a 2 mile straigh on a private airfiled in Britain. Speedo said 183mph at the time. Will be trying to beat that on the 21st of March when we go there again
A paltry 126 MPH in a 1951 Cadillac. 'Like floating on air'. 125 MPH in my 240Z out by the Hanford Nuclear reservation. Had to shut down early when I hit a tumble weed. What a mess. 120 MPH indicated in my 308 on some VERY old XWX Michelins. Trying to chase down my buddy's TR. Yeah, GOOD LUCK! I haven't had the chance to try out my new Yokohamas yet. DJ
Had my '95 Arctic Cat 550 snowmobile maxxed out at 100 on a frozen reservoir in Vermont a few years back. 130 roughly (speedo wasn't very accurate) in my 308. 140 in my TR. Rob Ferretti can vouge for that, because he passed me doing probably 160 in his 'Vette!
about... ...300 km/h (that's ~ 187 mph) in the modified 355... ...310 km/h (that's ~ 193 mph) in the modified maser... german autobahn rules! www.car-elite.com
This thread says in a Ferrari, but I was impressed when I hit 148 on the speedo in my 91' 300 zx non turbo w/ only 222hp. Car had about 95k on the odo, took a while but she got there, handled pretty good too, not shaky at all. Not bad for $12,000 7 years ago.
146 in the NSX in a 45... Wide open road with nothing around. It take too long to get there though. I won't do it again until I have a) a supercharger b)a turbocharger c) McLaren F1.
I showed 185mph. a few times. In reality I am not sure. But I hit at least 150-160 everytime I am out.
My father owned the 250 GTO prototype back in the early 80's and we hit about 130mph at Laguna Seca (prior to the reconfig). At the same track a few years later I was along for the ride in a Dino 206SP at about 150mph (pure guess since the SP doesn't have a speedo). But the fastest I have ever been was on my Honda CBR929RR...about 160...scariest thing I have ever done!
145 mph on my Euro Mondial 3.0 while being demolished by a 1986 TR. 149 mph on my GS-400 Lexus (drag limited). 165 mph on my 456GT while demolishing a C-5 Corvette (on a Saturday morning, Autopista Las Americas PR-53, sunny Puerto Rico).
150 in my Porsche 914 over taken by a "real" Porsche on a I-84 between Portland and Pendleton some amazing straight freeway! some stretches over 20 miles long. 135 in my 78 308 gts 140 in a 73 z28 Camero with Corvette engine. 130 in Pontiac Boneville also my record for on solid sheet of ice with studds 100 MPH same car. would have went fast however studds start trying to fly through fenders at that speed. One time when my dad and I were flying home in our Cessna doing 120 knots my brother in his z28 Camero over took us, boy was dad pissed!
Although I have matured somewhat lately.... 145 in my '86 328, car had more, but I didn't! 140 in my father's 360....and that was too easy! Went really fast on Rt.89 in Vermont in my Boxer, but was too frightened to look down and the speedo is in kilometers anyway!

151 in a 928 in a 45 zone 115 in a 944 turbo inside a neighborhood 161 in a 911 3.2 every sinlgle time I could down I 95 between Orlando and Miami at night. 157 in a 328 gts while holding a Cuba libre in my right hand and after 4 of them. 155 in a nsx 175 in my TR in a 55 zone 163 in a C4S But this means nothing, what counts is how fast can you make them go in the track.
