    Hello,

I just bought this 348 Challenge that raced in 1994 with Peter Worm d'Acosta in the Auto Becker team.

    Chassis number is 94927.

Any informations are welcome as I don't know a lot about this period.

Please if you have pictures, reports, letters, etc... feel free to contact me.

    Best regards.

Congratulation on your purchase, what kind of information are you looking for? Is it your first Ferrari?

You might find many good information on the site of Ferrari North America about the 348 in general: www.ferrarina.com
Look under GT cars and then past model.

    Hi Florent,

Welcome on this informative board! Please fill out your profile a little bit more so that we know who we are talking to. Do you have any pics of the car?

I met Bernd Hahne a few years ago in Dusseldorf, Germany. He is absolutely the man that you should talk to.

    Congrats on your 348!

    Hi guys,

Many thanks for your help, I'll try to get in touch with Bernd.

Here are some pictures about the Challenge.

It was previously owned by Vaughan, I bough it via a dealer.

I'm now homologating with it to FFSA (French motorsport authority ) specifications for racing in the GT Hill Climb Championship for few rounds this summer.

I search race parts for Challenge or GTC cars and 348 spares. Anyone who know some can contact me.

My profile had been filled out ... sorry for inserting my Startos but the picture taken in the Monte Carlo this year is too nice ... DINO engine !!!

    All the best,

    Florent

Wow - nice Challenge car. I actually like the red airbox and plenum covers.

    Cheers

    Hello,

    Many thanks for being enthusiast.

The car is really a very fine example as it's in perfect condition.

This Challenge raced very few, the previous owners ( including Vaughan ) maintained it very seriously.

It appears that after the challenge it was nicely repainted and road converted for a soft use.

Most of these cars are now in bad condition and suffer from a track laps overdose !

I recently refurbished and cleaned it completely, the result is very nice. Also agree that the few "looking upgrades" are very nice.

My project is still to race few rounds this summer of the French GT Hill Clim Championship for fun. The passionate I'am dreamed to race one day with a Ferrari, I hope it will come true !

    I let you know ....

    All the best
