to 360 owners: as you know, there are 2 "upper side openings/ducts" on the 360. the drivers side channels air to the air filter etc... what does the right one to do? is it purely cosmetic? thanks, jon c.
Like you said, the driver side feeds into the airbox housing and the driver side feeds right into item #2 which directs the air onto the engine oil cooler. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The lower air ducks for the 360M directs the air to the engine bay and for the Challenge car to the rear brakes.
It looks like you haven't read your owner's manual! There is an excellent well-illustrated technical section which discusses the various systems in the car. There's lots of stuff pertaining to the engine bay. It's surprisingly good reading for an owner's manual!
I hope one day a Ferrari driver gets on a game show and can win $1,000,000 if he answers the final question...and that question comes from the owners handbook of his car.... something like..."What is the best heater setting for clearing your windscreen?" or "What is the correct procedure for checking your engine oil?" how many would win the $1,000,000
i did read the owners manual.... just very quickly and just how to start the car. i was so excited that all i wanted to do was drive! i will read it more carefully.
