Hi Wlofgang (thanx again for the Modena Day meet) I think we're gonna be there. (me and my wife) But yet again I got several questions I hope you could help me with....see, I dont wanna travel through the half of Europe and them maybe mess things up. Is it OK for you if I could drop you a PM or mail in order to get the answers to my questions?? Or do you prefer I post the quiz here in this thread?? Hope to hear from you soon. Vielen Dank Your friends from the far North. PS:I've ordered this converter thing, so hopefully I can make you guys a "arrival of the Ferraris at Modena Days" disc pretty soon.
CONFIRMED by Ferrari! Presentation of the new Ferrari 430: Saturday, September 04th, 2004 Ferrari Racing Days, Germany Nürburgring 20.00p.m. at the Ferrari VIP tent only for invited/payed guests. Presentation by Kai Ebel/RTL Price uro: 120,- incl. dinner! Tickets to buy: -Ferrari Club Germany (only for members) -Ferrari Dealers (limited speed up!) -Maserati Dealers (limited!) Wolfgang
Wolfgang, Got yesterday an e-mail from the Belgian Ferrari-Maserati importer in which he told me that there will be no presentation of the new F430 at the Ferrari racing days at all !! I have asked him if It was a privat meeting (gala diner) and he told me NO. A guy I know bought a new F430 last week to replace his 512TR but he didn't know anything about the F430 at the FRD.
geertf60, looks like you do not know everything. i have the same information like wolf, the 430 presentation is confirmed by ferrari.
Should we start a running list here gents? Who will come to which meeting point? Ferrari or Maserati; which car you will show up? Lets make a ferrarichat.com meeting point @ the Nürburgring.
Merete and Paul aus Norwegen - thats pretty damn sure. But I'll let sombody else deal with this meeting point thing!
so that's an additional 120 euros on top of the 160 euros for the weekend? That's eh...much ... we (me and Maria) are thinking of comming to...but not sure yet. What about that 160 euro price...getting in with F-car or Masser...does that mean that when I come with normal car I can't park there? ...
Waldo, you can't park your car in the paddock at this event. Visitors parkings are on the outside of the track, no problem. The entrance fees for visitors without F,L,M are... ENTRANCE FEES: Adult Friday Grandstand ---, Paddock 10 euro Saturday Grandstand 20 euro, +Paddock* +10 euro Sunday Grandstand 32 euro, +Paddock*+16 euro Weekend (Fr.-Su.) 64,-- (always Grandstand + Paddock) Paddock* price comes on top of grandstand prize. More visitor info here... www.ferrari-racingdays.de I'll be there normally with Kelly and Guy on sunday only... CU and all the others there!
but I don't want the normal visitors entry. I want the VIP entry ...but without the F-car parking :S *sigh* I want to have that all eating drinking stuff thing LOL but perhaps not
Ow... Think that will be very difficullt without F-car... You could always try ofcourse... Sneak in with Wolfgang or something I still believe/hope that the normal visitors will be able to see a glimpse of the new F430 too... Not confirmed... but it already happened in the past... the Enzo presentation by MS f.e. wasn't confirmed either... and we still saw some nice action on the track back then, BEFORE the official presentation at the Paris Motorshow a few weeks later!
I wonder if the Kroymans incident (or accident, you choose) at Laguna Seca will have any negative effect on the F1 Clienti demo. What's your guess? I'll be there for sure on saturday and sunday, with the camera in hand. Ciao, Bob
The Kroymans accident has no effect of the F1 demo. We´ll be running our cars just like always. And hope for the best DB
Hi Waldo, don´t be stup.., sorry, but the VIP Entry is just bs. Park your car for (almost) free, get the entry and for sure the paddock ticket. The food is good, especially at the snackbar at the gas station. The F Package has never been worth the money you have to spend. If you´re invited it´s ok but to have to pay??? My last info as of today w/ Ferrari Germany is that the 430 will NOT be presented at dinner (unlike the Enzo, 550 Barchetta et al. ) but will be shown only to select people already having ordered the car in a seperate location. As always, since this event is co-organized from F-Germany and F-Italy there´s quite some confusion. Regards, DB
That´s not what its about... read my comment in the related thread in the racing section pls. See you at the Nürburgring DB
With the presentation of the new F430 this morning I think Michael will definitly show the car to the public on 5/9. What do you think. (same like the Enzo 2 years ago). See you on 5/9 at the Nurburgring
What was the model Hotwheels introduced 2 years ago at the same time Ferrari presented the Ferrari Enzo? They won't pull that stunt again this year, won't they (next to the 250 lusso)?? I will surely bring the cash with me, you'll never know... It is starting to be a mythical Ferrari weekend with hopefully lots of surprises. Ciao, Bob
Hehe... Those Enzo models sold like crazy that weekend! Perfect marketing stunt! I bought mine immediately there too back then! It would be great if they repeat the Enzo scenario with the F430 now... I'll be prepared too!
