Ok I think we have narrowed it down to an 83,84,maybe 85 308QV. I still dont know what the difference of gtb, gtsi, etc. I have an idea but.... The QVs are injected , right?

The 'B' means Berlinetta, it does not have a removable roof section.

The 'S' means Spyder, it has the removable roof.

In the 308 series, the 'B's' are rarer and harder to find.

If the designation is GTBi or GTSi, it's an injected engine, but with 2 valves per cylinder.

The QVs are injected, with 4 valves per cylinder

The '84 and '85 were the first F-cars made with rust protection on them and are considered to be the most refined of the 308 series of cars (and they are).

83's have the same emission equipment as a 2 valve and don't have as much horsepower. Given the choice you should go with an 84 or 85.
