The Carrera GT went around the Nürburgring in 732.44 minutes while being piloted by Horst von Saurma. Here is the article: http://www.germancarfans.com/news.cfm/newsid/2040920.004/porsche/1.html I wonder if the Enzo would be quicker than the CGT around the Nürburgring?
Im not 100% sure which would win out of the cars, but i can tell you, the Enzo would make a bit of ground on the long straights. The CGT tops out at 331km/hr, Enzo is out at 352km/hr. Apparently the CGT corners better than the Enzo, so im not 100% sure. It sure would be interesting to see these two beast's go at it head to head. Heck, i'll gladly take home the loser!
I dont think the Enzo would be faster. Dont forget the CGT has thousands of miles of developpement on the Ring. The Enzo doesnt.
What about the Start/Finish straight?? Just after Galgenkopf, through the Dottinger-Hohe.... Thats one hell of a long straight. They might not hit MAX speed, probably Nardo is the place for that. But they sure as hell come close!
Wasn't an Enzo clocked recently at 360kmph? I heard the theoretical maximum speed of the Enzo was around 370kmph.
This sounds like a question for... Project Gotham 2! Thrawn: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19586
The Enzo had a projected top speed of about 378km/hr, as tested in Ferrari's Wind Tunnel. But you have to factor in TailWinds, Crosswinds and road surface to get a more realistic figure. Im recalling this off an old Magazine article so i could be a little bit off. I was going to bring up PGR2 Ryan, but now im glad you bought it up! Top speed on my Enzo on the Ring'...373km/hr. Damn........
