Hello Gentlemen, This thread is made for my friend and fellow fchatter Mark Pautz/MalfaRK and is showing the making of the drawing of his beautiful Ferrari 328 GTS from the start and throughout its evolution. I very much hope that it will be allowed in the showroom to also show photos of drawings.....after all it's still a Ferrari, and I know that Mark will be pleased to hear everybody's reactions to this drawing of his car! As usual the drawing is entirely made by hand and from looking at a photo provided to me by Mark. Also as usual, the drawing is exclusively done with my Pilot drawingpen 0,1mm(INK) and on A3 size paper! The unusual part is that this drawing also shows the driver sitting in his car, and further it has been worked on on/off since arround May this year......but now it will be finished soon! Here you see the initial outline of the car and the progress made since then in the next couple of posts... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
.....Still evolving and more color has now been added to the drawing! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thank you guys I will post here the progress made to the drawing since yesterday evening, and pretty much as the drawing looks right now! The close up will hopefully give you an idea of just how many lines a work like this is made of... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks a lot Lukas I would love to see a new thread with some of your drawings You are a very skilled artist yourself !!! Best Carsten
Wow Carsten - I continue to be impressed. The close ups really show how much time and attention you dedicate to your craft. You certainly capture depth and texture in a way that some other sketch artists seem to miss. Keep them coming. I can't wait!! Cheers, MARK
If anyone would like to see the original photograph, it's on my flickr.com site here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/59444251@N00/1080715/ ...if you click "All Sizes" to the left of the photo, you will get to a slightly larger version. If you're interested to know where the photo was taken, this is the caption: "In my Ferrari 328 GTS in the Polish town of Zgorzelec on April 20, 2003. Zgorzelec looks over the Neisse River at Görlitz in Germany on the opposite bank. The town was divided after the 2nd World War when German territories east of the Oder-Neisse line became part of Poland. Cheers, MARK
Thanks dear friend, yes they do demand some time to finish.... every line is only about one tenth of a millimetre thick so it takes a while and thousands of tiny lines to fill out a piece of A3 size paper I'm really flattered by your compliments and so pleased that you like the work so far, and the pics will keep coming until the work is finished!!! However I think the next pics will have to wait until tomorrow!!! Regards Carsten
He is doing it again!! The drawing-master from Denmark!! If you didn't see it yet, here is more work from Carsten: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40953
Thanks again for your compliments gentlemen !!! Here is today's picture of the progress made. The front end of the car and the left side of the drawing is near to finished, but there's still a lot to do on the right side of the drawing and the rear end and the side of the car!!!
