Saturday pm: Black/Crema w/black piping 456M @ Canadian customs, plated 456M. Enough to completely turn my head around re 456 vs 550....... Beautiful! james
Saw a Red/Tan 355 spider on Southbound I-5 at Northgate areound 2:15 yesterday. Dave was that you? I also saw a red Ford GT this week on 405. First time I'd seen one on the road. Looked pretty good for a ford.
I think the Ford GT's look great except for the dorky '62 Falcon tailights. Way too big. Tailights should not be considered a component of styling on a car like that. DJ
That was Frankie....it has 550 rims on it. He just upgraded it with drilled rotors, new pedals, etc. Talk about "pimp my ride"!
I think I might have seen you. I was around there at about that time and saw a red 360. Thats an awsome car!
Not an F-car today, but: Spotted my first Maserati Quattroporte... Blonde woman driving it, over on NW Gilman in Issaquah. Spotted it while going to the gym and as I was leaving. Very nice looking car. It looks awkward in photos (IMO), but it surely looks elegant and awesome in person! Over the weekend, there was a Dodge Viper GTS and a Ferrari 355 Berlinetta in Issaquah too...
Thursday, 12/23 evening, black 355B on 34th in Magnolia, parked in front of the Thriftway. Friday, 12/24 1:30pm got passed by a black 360B, thought it might be Willis, but it wasn't, young asian guy, we exchanged waves....
Today at 4 pm on Leary Way in old Redmond, on a flatbed, a red 355 (I think) with shields. The rearend was crushed and from what I saw this may be a total! Loren (joined FOA today and took delivery of a Testarossa last week)
Saw a kind of off yellow late model Honda Accord (Maybe a 99' or 00') in the parking lot of the Issaquah Cosco. A small child with thick glasses came out of the car with a (what looked like) a 355 model car. The 355 was classic Rosso, Coupe ...Couldnt tell if it was F1 or gated shifter...but from the look of the kid I would say it was an F-1. Oh...one other thing... no shields.
Speaking of the Masers, I saw a Silver Quattroporte on the road a couple months ago in Issaquah, and found out later it was the "press car." Saw a dark blue one parked in valet parking at Bellevue Sq the week before Christmas (yes - I had just started my xmas shopping). Looked way better in person than it does in pics!
And here I thought we had the only blue one in town. But we weren't in Bvue last week: we were in San Francisco. The car is absolutely gorgeous. I think Maserati has hit a homerun with this one. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yupp. I-5 drone down, but 101/1 all the way back. And it did very well in the city, too. Extremely comfortable, and very handy on the twisty stuff. And I just love the snarl of that v-8. Didn't ever really get a chance to open it up, but did visit triple digits several times. As soildly planted to the road at speed as a Ferrari. I did miss the active cruise control of the BMW, but then again, the throttle was so much fun to play with, only bothered to activate cruise once. Otherwise, just plant the go pedal and pass em all.
