I call mine "The 308" around other people. In private, while chasing 355's, 360's and a certain black TR, I find myself saying, "Come on Betsy!".
I call mine Isabella. Pronounced Eeeeee-za-bellllll-lah. Or sometimes I refer to her as my "Hot Little Italian Red Head". But, when I have to type it out I always use TR instead of Testarossa.
I have a yellow Stradale----My kids and wife call it ---The Bannana!!!! I can't bring myself to saying it yet.
380SL - "Bluey" Boxster S - "Speedy" (actually "THPEEDY" is on the license plate) 348 spider - "The Whomper" Didn't plan these - they all just sort of happened. None of the cars are particularly feminine in character so no girls' names ever came up. Cheers Kevin
I had a black 911 named "Rolf" back in the early 80's. The 246GT already had a name from Enzo, so, it's just "Dino".
My wife refers to my C4 as "the other woman". You guys can reach your own conclusions about this. My last 308 QV was called the "black *****". When it was good, it was sooooo good. And when it was bad..............................
BWAHAHAHAHAH! The fact that you're actually ordering the plate... high praise to the man himself! I'm just waiting to see the confusion. Better make a jimmy540i.com sticker to put on there! --Dan
My Dino has simply become "The Red Car". Low key, understated, doesn't get a lot of attention if used in a conversation. My friends now use it too, so if I'm approached in a line at Home Depot one might say "How is the Red Car these days?".......a little more subtle than "How's the Ferrari?"
