The little guy gave me driving directions to his Mom's house in River Oaks, Houston. She has remarried, and the car does not live here..........
Not sure if that's true, but I agree with your point: there are AT LEAST 8 Enzos registered in Texas. Although I must add that there are at least 13 Enzos registered in Florida
oil....black crude.......Texas tea..........LOL! Then we have the World champ boxers and few rappers as well!
Let's look at it from a different point of view: Texas is 15 times larger than The Netherlands (you know, that small country between England and Germany ). In The Netherlands, there are 6 Enzos (or something like that). And I'm sure that Texas doesn't have more than 90 Enzos!
LOL! We have a lot of UNUSED real estate here, aka West Texas...no people, nothing but cactus and jackrabbits......no Enzos there!!!!
why all the interest in who owns the car, it took me all of 10 seconds to track it down when i first posted at the beggining of this thread. i am amazed that the question "who owns it" hasn't been answered, through research, by someone who really wanted to know.
Yep, there is an Enzo out there. Along with a RWD Diablo, McLaren F1, Jim Hall's museum and, and, and...................... Check it out Big Tex.. Boy, those roads are really fun to drive though................:>)
I knew for a long time who really owned that car: Victor Bennett. Simple, isn't it NNO calls me "Mr."! But don't worry, you can call me Edvar And Dahr's Enzo is (or should I say: WAS) s/n 133019. I guess you're referring to Carlton Beal's Enzo, which indeed is in western Texas.
Can someone remind me who is Dahr and what type of crash he had ? Is that the car that completely burned ? Pictures ? Thanks Greg
wspeer, it seems the technocrats worldwide WILL NOT REST until every stone is turned in the search to document the whereabouts of EVERY Enzo in the world! It's gonne get tough, when they are yesterdays news and every used car lot on Sheperd Drive has one, out front! I thought the McLaren was in Fredericksburg........
Speedy308 had a big box of the cf frags and molten alloy. He uses for a pillow, I think........... He gave me a piece of the rotor for you, NNO. I had it in my pocket at FFQC but forgot to pass it on.......
- ive been trying to hunt down Beals- so Beals is in Texas? (license plate says Enzo 1?) -according to enzoregister.barchetta.cc, the Texas Enzo that got crashed was Red, s/n # 132648, owned by Don Wallace. does that mean that 2 Texas Enzos have been crashed so far? -the picture at the beginning of this thread (V78 HNR) has NOT been crashed? is that right? -and finally, what was Dahr's license plate? (for any who know)
Why does everyone delight in saying whose car it is? I know the gentlemen of whom you suggest and they are good guys but deserve some sort of annonymity. I will not tie in a license number with a name, even if I do know it.
When you buy a million dollar car, your privacy goes out the window... rightfullly so. Just like when celebs complain about paparazzi, it comes along with the whole being famous part. Any why bother to tell us that you know the plate? Who's trying to get the attention now foo?! And yes I mean foo' lol!
There are some threads here on FerrariChat about it: [thread]10695[/thread] [thread]10860[/thread] [thread]1685[/thread] (page 5 till 9 or so)
I have pieces, if anyone wants a paperweight.... Enzo dust! Magic Enzo dust! If only he'd managed the skid a little better he'd have missed the tree. An on board extinguisher would have saved the car, as well. What does that cost, $30 bucks????
Beal's Enzo is indeed in Texas. The s/n is 131631. I believe this Enzo is from Florida, not Texas. It was crashed, but completely restored. Recently seen at the Cavallino Classic in Palm Beach, Florida. Correct, that car was NOT crashed. Not as nice as "Enzo1" .... (which is quite a cool plate!)
Who is "Carlton Beal"? I was reading a poker magazine on a flight several months back and it mentioned a billionaire from TX that went to Vegas with 2 bodyguards & millions of dollars to play some professional poker players. I don't remember the guy's name, but I could have sworn his last name was "Beal". The article mentioned that he would win $5+ mil in a night and win it back on another night.
