New 330 GTC listed on E-bay. It's red! Ebay item number: 453629088 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4536290886&category=6212 Good luck with your search. Art S.
Dunno anything about the car, but the description seems paltry considering the very high "buy it now" price. If I were selling a big ticket car on eBay (and the most I've ever sold was an old Carter carb!) I'd want to laud every little thing I could and brag about all the great things attributable to the car. No Borranis or tools for that kinda money also seems at odds with the market as I've viewed it, or have prices really climbed since the Fall? Guess I'm glad I got mine when I did....especially since a neighbor called this AM and wanted to know when I got the 275 GTB! s
It is a little odd. The best thing about eBay is you can write a 10,000 word essay about your item for free. It certainly loks good in digital pics. I can find no history on the car in the registry.
My guess is that Tom Shaughnessy knows the seller. Dale BTW Dr. Trashy, the car in Houston will probably be a better deal.
What? Once you put on non-lowered springs, get rid of the tassels on the rear window and change out the welded-chain steering wheel for an original, you should have a nice car.
Q: Hello Is the car titled in USA only? Many Thanks Jorge Carlos Answered on Mar-17-05 A: no, el auto tambien tiene papeles mexicanos lo cual es fabuloso, pues te ahorrarias miles de dolares de la importacion donde estas localizado? A: no, the car also has Mexican papers which is good, which will save thousands of dollars on importation, where are you located? Translated courtesy of my meager spanish abilities and a co-worker's assistance over the phone. (un senorita que esta muy bonita.)
I just talked with the owner. Sounds on the up and up for what that's worth. Has had the car since 1998.
Watch out. You might be talking about my next car. If I do buy it I swear I'll get one of those bobble-head Chihuahuas for it.
Doc... The car was advertised in the Ferrari Market Letter back in 1998; the last line of the ad read as follows: "Rebuilt engine, suspension, brakes & exhaust". Later that same year, there was speculation about the engine stamping; apparently, it's stamped 10967... ...you shoulda went with the 355...
Ahhh, the old 10907-10967 conundrum, ehh? I don't think there could be anything shaky coming out if Mexico, do you? I talked with Tom and he is going to bat for me on this one. Sees, I gots me an agent now, just like da big boys!
10967 is a GTC as well, anybody know it's where abouts??? registry is mute on both these cars. (10907 and 10967)
10967 is a Euro; destined for Italy upon completion... In 1976, it was offered for sale in Italy - it was in the classifieds in VOLUME 1, NUMBER 2 OF THE FERRARI MARKET LETTER...!!! THE SECOND ISSUE...!!! Have you seen the "reprint" of the first issue's cover article...? It's about 330 GTCs...
OK... so do you think it was an engine swap or do you thing Guido and Mario had a little too much vino at lunch and through blurry eyes stamped the 10907 engine with a "6" instead of a "0"??? Can the reprint be bought?
A reprint of what...? The front page article from Vol. 1 No. 1 ...? Have you not clicked the obnoxiously large link below my posts...? As for 10907 and 10967, there's no way i could ever make an educated guess on what really happened...
