Hi, I am trying to help my stepdad sell his car. The car is in perfect shape and has had its 30K service done. It has new tires, the interior is tan and the exterior is red. Serviced by Scottsdale Ferrari and it has been owned by original owner since 1999. Asking $90,000. Its a real treat but its gotta go. please view pictures at link below: http://bonanzaflmhost.com/ferrari/ Thanks for your interest, and if anybody has any suggestions on selling I'd really appreciate it. Melissa
put it in everywhere u can. ebay, ferrariads, ferraribuy, autotrader, dupont, etc. price is a bit on the higer side for quick sale thou.
I just got 1997 Black spider with 11K for $75,000 needing 15K service other than that perfect, so 90K seems HIGH to me also. 80,000s seems fair (75,000+5000 service=$80,000) Also I am not math wizard either...hehe
No offense, but there is a smaller auience for a black spider than a red one. Smaller audience equal longer marketing time and/or lower sales price IMHO
The build date is June '97. Does that make it a '98? Still, your saying the car wasn't driven / sold in '98? I thought these cars were flying off the floor at that time. I'm suprised. But, I think asking $90k is about right........
a june '97 build date doesn't mean that it's not a '98....i have a '97, build date summer of '96....i could be wrong but my title is for a '97 , paperwork from Algar shows a '97..but a build date in '96...
The car has 23,186 miles on it. I am going to try the other suggested places to sell it. I just saw a 1997 yellow 355 spider go for 90,100 on ebay and it sold. Grant it, it had half the miles but it was a year older. I really appreciate the input, What kind of other info do you think potential buyers want to know?
that ebay car has 5900 miles, which is like 1/4 of what yours have. mileage alone is prolly 12k difference in price. modeal yr really do not matter as much as mileage.
