I need new shoes! She's a US '84QV with the 16" rims. I've looked through a lot of the archives. Tirerack.com has lots of info, and has all sorts of ratings. Do you find this info helpful? I've narrowed it down to a few (based on archives and Tirerack.com) Thoughts? #1 Goodyear Eagle F1 (seems best all around, with highest ratings in all categories, including road noise) #2 Fuzion ZRi #3 Bridgestone Pntenza SO-3 #4 BF Goodrich g-Force I've been told the Khumos are good, but they seem to wear out fast and are noisy. Its a QV, and I love to have the top off, so noise is an issue -I wanna here her sing, not hum! thanks!
Hi Spike, There is another thread going on right now for the 328 (same sizes) http://70.85.40.84/~ferrari/forum/showthread.php?t=53089 Check the archives also, as a thread starts on this at least every other month. Dave
I went with the Goodyear's at Tires are us. Quick and easy and made the mechanics day when they drove the car onto the lift.
Reporting from, not so Sunny quite yet this Morning,Phoenix,Arizona....I always ran the Goodyears on my Corvettes with excellent results. And those Wheels/Tires were very Wide.... That would be my choice for my 308 if I needed tires,or got some fancy wheels for her...Gotta go....the Hot Tub beckons me weary, old, broken, steel laden, tired old bones...check back with you later!!!!!! (And Frankie,Jr. is bugging me to go to thge pool....)
Doesn't anyone use Pirelli anymore? I need new tires, too, but was just going to get the same kind of Pirellis that I have now. Now everyone is saying how great the Goodyear Eagle F1s are. I don't know what to do.
