    I'd guess that it's easier to transplant a later engine (and steering column and mirrors and identity;)) into an earlier TR chassis rather than change the hubs, A-arms, wheels, etc..

    Edvar is that "TYPE F110AB" consistent with TRs?

    Yes, F110AB is the chassis and model type. It's also printed on Homologation papers of TRs.
