I don't know...each I look at it I have different oppinion, but the last time I looked at it I thought it looked like a slipper, not for me thank you. I wish they do sort of a retro look on the new Dino, the origional car is gorgeous,I might get one!

The amount of space between the front wheels and the windsheild. Ferrari could indeed offer a "entry level" front engined car, but why use the Dino name? Call it something else. I do realize this is a mid-front config, but Dinos have their motor behind the driver.

I think this is the car because it looks dead-on with the proportions of the test mule (not the details, the shape, size and proportions). Then again, I could be 100% wrong. :D

Sounds reasonable. That put's it at two years after the 612. I think Ferrari are sure to make this car more exciting especially since Frank S is in charge of design. The power will not reach or top 600HP. I don't think they will create such a gap between the 612 and the 575 replacement.

Frank S went to Maser, sadly.
I hope 600bhp is magic #. It is the flagship, irregardless.

... The prototype looks like a famous GT from the past...
    The 275-GTB Berlinetta!
Think about it: the F430 front air intakes are similar to those of the 1961 156 F1 (Phil Hill's car), the 612 Scaglietti has the same "side" as the 375 MM (and the front lights are quite similar too)...
And it is not the first time Ferrari has taken inspiration from past models...
It's a sensation anyway... But i am sure it will look like the gorgeous 275!

... look at the front hood of both cars (ok, the mule doesn't tell us anything), and try to compare them... They look quite similar... Or not?

    I found this on italiaspeed.com:

    http://www.italiaspeed.com/2005/cars/other/technology/02/05_02.html

Due to the new UNIAIR technology, power can increase from 10-15%, while fuel economy improves by around 10%.

    Interesting quote:

" The first application of UNIAIR for the Ferrari range of cars is expected to be with the 6.0 V12 direct injection engine, with an impressive 630 bhp."

    Well, considering the upcoming F600 will have a 6.0 l V12..........

If this UNIAIR thing is true buy Fiat stock. They might as well stop making the 612 at 30k more than the 600 imola and almost 100hp less who will buy one then.I should have bought an SA.
