Hi guys, I'm trying to find out which warranty book is proper for my car. Can you guys, with original books, give me the color of the cover, the catalog number on the inside back cover and the year of your car. thanks!
I have three books, one is the owners manual and its brown, one is the dealer locator manual and its red, the third book which is the warranty book is black with red lettering on it saying 12 cylinders in 3 languages on the top left corner. Says warranty card and owners service book on the bottom. No part number on the book that I can find. Cant take a pic of it at the moment due to time but if you need, I can later. Paul.
Do you have a source for the warranty books? I have a pouch with the owner's manual and dealer directory, but no warranty book.

Hey Murph, can you post a pic of the EQ manual you have for the 5 band eq so I can see what I have to hunt down? My Warranty book has about 6 stubs missing but on the bright side, it was being serviced since new.
Here's the warranty book version I have filled out for a September 1983 512BBi Boxer. It's brown not black with the third line in French not German. The inside back cover has a print code: Cat.256/83 - 500. Anyone else seen this version? Image Unavailable, Please Login
