Hey guys n gals, I will be visiting Europe with a friend in February or March, and will be traveling for a few months. I really want to get the Ferrari factory tour. Is there any way for me to set this up? Anyone I can contact? I really want this to happen, as this will be the pinnacle in visiting Italy. Thanks in advance, ~Jay

If you don't want to help him, that's ok, just ignor his thread and say nothing. That would be nicer than ask to have his need for help remove....
Are you an owner or have a friend who is? It'll be pretty tough if you're not. If owner contact the dealer or FNA and set up a date. BTW, even if you're not it's worth going to Maranello anyway and seeing the town, shops and museum. An actual tour is no big deal but just being there is totally worth it. Good luck.
Unlike srfcity I thought the tour was VERY interesting. As previously stated, however, you do have to be an owner and set it up in advance through your dealer. Gary
You can borrow one of my VIN numbers, if you need one...I'm not going on an airplane anytime soon. It exceeds my personal risk tolerance for the time being..... patpong, I'm nominating you for a position at the UN..... Man, we're a tough crowd for newbies lately.....were'nt we all one, once?? I have "Inside Ferrari".......and there HAVE been some awesome "Tour" thread here, in the past......
I guess we're not all perfect like yourself...^ Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it. PM's have been sent to those who offered
Just let the dealer handle the upfront legwork on it, once your dates are firm. "Yes, we are calling on behalf of our client, Mr. Haversham......" And be punctual and polite, normal travel stuff, I suppose...... Ferrari of Atlanta would be near you? Use Mr. Fanklin Parker's VIN number from the Boxer512bbi.........just kiddin'!! He's a lawyer, don't mess with him! I'll help you. Mine are old hand stamped 5 digit VINs......computers HATE 'em.......TxDOt calls me a "problem child"..........dunno why........LOL!
Haha, thanks for the help Tex. I'm actually from Southern California- as for the dealership help, I gotta figure out my travel dates before that.
Some friends of mine (big car fans) are travelling to Italy next month and want to see the Ferrari factory. They do not own Ferraris so is it possible for them to get in. Would it be rude or out of place for me to ask my dealer to help set up for them to get a tour? Not sure of the etiquette on this one.
The etiquette is to use the 'search' button on this site It will reveal the answer is almost invariably no but the museum/galleria is open to all
I'm going to be in the Ferrari Factory area June 13th to June 15th on my Italy vacation. Wife called about a tour (recently bought a used 360) but neither FNA nor the salesman who sold me the car could help her. Apparently they are booked for months in advance. I probably will not be in the area for the next ten years - anyone have an idea how I could cop a tour? FNA offered the mesueum.
Maybe Chatter Napolis knows some numbers...find him and send a PM. The Lambo and Ducati facilities are not quite so 'popular' and allow walk-ins IIRC.......
..or you could be REALLY EARLY in boooking a 2017 tour, so there's always two ways to look at it........
go to pagani aswell, and stop by the maserati factory, its very cool especially the parking garage Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here are some useful addresses of area around Modena . Might be useful for you ! http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=136702393&postcount=6
The day I did my tour, a couple of decently dressed guys in their 20's were there asking about a tour, and after a few minutes of checking their bookings they let them join our tour. You might want to take a photocopy of your title and show up while you are visiting Marranello. With the museum and shops there is plenty to see there if you don't get in.
Great idea. My daughter got a run on the Olympic Bobsled in Lake Placid simply because we showed up (although sold out). By the way Ferrariowners.com allows booking for: Factory Tour 6/12/2007 - 6/13/2007 Factory Tour for one person in double room Net Price: 340,00 Euro Factory Tour for two persons in double room Net Price: 610,00 Euro Only I am traveling with kids.
I agree. I have seen people just show up and talk there way into an English speaking tour. there are probably no shows. As for paying for a cheesy room at the Planet and the tour for 610Euros. No way!!! Just show up. BTW, don't forget that there are many very fun things to do in Maranello including: lunch at Cavalino or Montana, The Ferrari Store, museum and the four great stores that sell car stuff.
