Will Stock 328 wheels work on a 308?
The non-abs 328 wheels will fit, but it takes some fiddling/changes to the 308 front wheel bearing grease cap (since the non-abs 328 wheel doesn't have a center projection) -- do a search on something like "308 328 wheels".
Pre-88.5 wheels will work, but require machining the front dust cap. It's in the archives somewhere, a GT4 owner (Dom?) did this.
Yep, I did it. Required grinding the spindle down a bit, and reshaping of the dust cap. No big hoohoo if you are technically inclined. I wound up paying my mechanic to do it (about 3 hrs labor, IIRC). http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11452&highlight=328+wheels+hub Dom
You can also mount the 328 wheels directly with 11 mm spacers and longer bolts from Hill Eng. Which I did. The rears will bolt right on without mods., but I used spacers in the rear as well.
Don't want to hijack, but I bought a 328 ABS wheel on ebay - it came with-tire and a new center cap, so it looks pretty. Can I use this wheel on anything other than an ABS-equipped 328?
sure, they will fit on any Ferrari with same 5 x 108 bolt pattern. You will need to use spacers for right offset and possibly to clear suspension.
