Are you on theFaceBook.com? It's like a cult for college students and alumni... I think in top 20 schools in U.S., up to 70% of the student population is listed on theFaceBook.com.
seeing as i am not a student at any of those schools, no. myspace is open to everyone. i use it mostly to find new bands
I'm on. A majority of the people who I know are on it, too. It's funny seeing what's going on with people from high school who I haven't talked to in 4 years.
Oye. You just had to bring the subject up. My school just got access to it too so EVERYONE is making a big deal out of it and getting addicted. I don't see whats so great about it. I'm addicted to f-chat though so I guess its the same. Apparently a person or group of people designed it in Harvard. They were offered 85 million for it but turned it down b/c they want to improve on it.
My friends suggested it a while back, and I just created a profile last night. It is just as bad as fchat, only instead of actual conversations, you spend 3 hours looking for old friends. It's better than myspace, if only because there are so few ads. It's like comparing a google page to AOL.
Partly I'm joining these things to get search engines to find *me* easier - googling my name brings up a homosexual adult movie star as the main hits... and even 'ryalex' is a brand of platform shoes and boots especially designed for strippers. (Just to be clear, I have no affiliation with either of the above!)
Just made an account, my girlfriend is still in college... but most of the people I knew in HS and College are not on there... -Peter http://www.luxurybazaar.com [email protected]
Haha, I just googles your name and sure enough, Porn Star. On the other note. I hate Facebook. When I get time, I plan to delete my account. Almost as bad as the time my cell phone # got printed in a PTA directory years back.
I'm on it. It's alright, I check it a lot just to look at what my friends have but my profile is really sparse. I like the simple non-customizable design. Myspace gets really annoying the way everybody can change it. I really hope these people don't let you change your profile's appearance eventually.
yup im on it...when it first started i remember everyone just looking for pics of hot people to make their "friends" haha stupid thing imho
I'm on it. You would be amazed at the number of people in college who are on it. I would say 80% of the 25000+ people who go to UT are on it. I'll walk through the library computer section and usually 1/3 of the people are zoned out scrolling through facebook.
