Ok here's the deal (to quote an artism) --- FoSF just got a CS; 10K + miles, ~180. Alcantera interior. Not perfect and probably sold already. LA auto gallery - had a car for 209 that was a contender. Obviously top dollar, but real clean. However, I spoke to them and they were surprised the car was 209 on the web site as it was listed for 214 on the showroom. Within hours they changed the website to 214. They totally rejected my 195 offer. Thats fair according to FML. John sent me some CS pics of a black CS that were so awesome that I my be traumatized for life -- not for sale. So the search continues.
Are you saying there are $170,000 Stradales out there. I'm seeing many asking prices over $200,000 and two recent sales were mid to high one hundred eighties. Another may have been mid one nineties for a perfect car. I would get real excited about a nice Stradale in the one seventies. Gary[/QUOTE] I had the chance to buy a 7,000 mile Stradale for $176,000, this price was offered to me by the dealer, I wasn't even talking about buying the car or anything and they just came out and told "the price for you is..."
I too have come across cars in the 170s and know of cars that went in the 160s. We are not talking about beaten on or salvage type cars. Both were clean and under 10k miles. --Dan
M - I know it's a lot of work, but really beat on the service managers at different dealerships. They'll come across cars before the sales guys generally. On top of that, I'd suggest letting a few collection type brokers know. If you want help I'd be more than happy to make some calls on your behalf. --Dan
You are like me, I see all the CS priced above 190k. I remember that I saw the car I mentioned above at the Ferrari dealer website for 199k, but at the dealership they offered it to me for the amount I said earlier and I wasn't even considering on buying any car that day and they knew it. I would advice the visiting the showrooms and making offers.
Ferrari of Denver has one that is 2 owner, 6k miles at $189k asking price...no stripe http://www.ferrariofdenver.com/inventory_detail.cfm?id=568
