Is the car worth more or less as the Sandown 500 winner?
To who? In Oz, maybe interested buyers would like the fact. O/S couldn't give a rats. Also, as it has already been in Aus, to buy it and bring it here might be easier than a fresh import, but not much.
Hi Scott, I did not know anything from its wish to buy a GTC.., but please inform me if you know in future more about... regards ivo
The yellow one was delivered to Switzerland and only used for different Trackdays in Le Castellet. This ,s/n 2052, was for sale in early 2005 for 395'000 Euro's...but if i know it right, until today it remains unsold.. ivo
because it is here the S/N 11 thread,we have to discuss this car Scott, let us know about your driving experiences...which got broken on the trackdays, where the difficulties lay...? Starter or alternator problems? i'm curious...but i'm sure also few people more here. thanks ivo
Ivo, apart from recurring and previously unsolved gear selection problems left over from Veloqx days, it's been near perfect for Scott. Since then, I've repaired the selector internals, strenghtened the selector externals, and adjusted it all as it should be. It now shifts properly. It then needed the clutch slave repaired and the stack re-shimmed for the carbon triple clutch. And I prepared a spare clutch shim for the next time too. It fouled some plugs one VERY cold day during start up, but that was easy to fix. A small oil leak and a couple of minor niggles, and this car has been very good I'd say. It's had all the shocks serviced and a full set up and the car is ready for a BANZAI lap.....
Scott, how many days you use s/n11 on track ? And you will do this year with the car,if it remains unsold? regards ivo
Hi Ivo, in belated response to a few earlier questions: S/N 11 was a bit of a ***** to set up and get running correctly to start with, partlicularly the gearchange. Once Phil sorted that and attended to the issues he stated, it has been trouble free. I have really only used the car at local club meetings in it's time with me. Perhaps 4 outings a year at most. If it remains unsold, I will probably use it 2-3 times this year I would imagine. I have not raced it at all, and do not plan to. Far too expensive and stressful for me, I will leave it to the next owner to fund that sort of thing. Cheers Scott

interesting that it's slower from 60-100mph by a good margin than an F40, hey? My seat of the pants measurer told me as much.
I've got direct access to this car if anyone is interested too... forget the asking price in this add... not anything like what will buy it. PM or email for details. http://www.joemacari.com/janlm360/cardescription.html
Found this newspaper article on Ryan Briscoe testing S/N 11 for the F1 GP meeting. Must have clipped it out at the time- long before I had any thoughts/hope of buying the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I took this photo at the GP and almost shed a tear when briscoe lost it! By far one of the most stunning cars I saw on this trip. Was the black car the same? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
