I forgot to mention this earlier but I was driving from north jersey to philadelphia last week in the lambo, not really going crazy or anything other than small spurts of about 135 or so, then backing down again. I drive the turnpike often and know that the troopers are out in full force so I didn’t want to do anything crazy. Anyway, I had just started on one of my small spurts and was at about 120 or so, when I looked in my rear view mirror and speeding up behind me is a trooper; lights, siren and all. I started slowing down and then I moved into the center lane. The trooper rushes up, staying in the left lane, pulls up next to me, gives me the thumbs up, chirps his siren twice and then takes off. I could not wipe the smile off my face all day. It was definitely a close call.

p.s. I had left my radar detector in my other car…
