Got some good news ya wanna share? Share it here!

Rather than start a new thread for every good thing that happens, and instead of keeping it to yourself because it's not big enough news to start a thread, why not post it here! Could be a good place to keep in touch.

So, have any "good news" lately?

    Wes

Used to suffer miserably this time of year with allergy problems (post-nasal drip, earaches, wheezing, coughing) from all the pollens, molds, dust, and other airborne entities. After 5 years of immunotherapy (allergy shots), Rx drugs, and the watchful care of one heckuva an allergist (who's now retired) and a family doctor I've known my entire life, I suffer no symptoms at all anymore. This health problem came out of nowhere ten years ago, so I try not to take my health for granted anymore and appreciate every day above ground...

    GOOD NEWS:

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida leader in Iraq who waged a bloody campaign of suicide bombings and beheadings of hostages, has been killed in a precision airstrike, U.S. and Iraqi officials said Thursday.

IF that doesnt count as good news, I dont know what does. It made my day. :)

Good for you! Were there many bidders? Seems like school work is very competitive, no?

We run a General Contracting company up here in Canada which does between 12-20mill work a year, so I appreciate how nice it is to get a 9mill dollar job. Are there many between 6-10M in your area per year?

What sort of volume does your company do? I take it you're an estimator. For how many years?

    Nice to meet you. :)

I made a new friend in nigeria. He is offering me some money that was left by a prince. He needs me to pay him up front to get things moving. It makes me a little nervous but I think I can trust him.
