Jammed accelerator: heard that one before.

Ha ha... Good thing indeed. Had his accelerator "jammed" on one of our twisties, he would have been, um.... hurt.

 

hmm thats a good one, I wonder if it would work on the parkway

 

I don't buy it, it is impossible for a BMW 318 to go 135 mph.

i remember this from the bmw forums....
at the time the guy said the accelerator was jammed, the transmission wouldn't shift into N, and the brakes died. if it was real, he should've shut off the engine (just turn the key 1 notch so he loses power steering, not all the way which would lock the steering column)

Its funny you mention that. I can make a list of names of guys (and girls) ive met thru the years that can't sell a car UNLESS they're high.


As for me, no way! When i was much younger I started in the service dept of a Cadillac dealership. Long story short, one Friday me and some of the techs went to lunch. I drove. One had a nice spliff all rolled and ready to go. We got stoned to the Bejesus belt!

Anyway, when I came back to work I could not deal with people at all in that state. The rest of the day was a F&#^$# NIGHTMARE for me.
