I would like to attend - if my car ever makes it out of IFS sometime this summer......
And you'd believe him? Just remember who told me last year: "My headlight switch is fine, I just had to jiggle it a few times to clean the contacts..." ;^)
Hello All, The response has been great. I'll take a look at all the responses I've received this weekend & post a revised list of who's bringing what & what's stll looking for a who to bring it. Regards, Verell
Worked great....until the sucker broke! Damn Italian engineering! Oh, and I'm not TOUCHING any Italian superbikes. Too hard to turn around at the end of the driveway! Birdman
Not if you know what you're doing ;-P I admit, the slow speed turning radius of the race bike leaves something to be desired. High speed turning, well, that's something different. ;-)
I'll try to get an update posted later this weekend. Have just been flat out between my 8-6 job & helping my son refinish his door & rear quarter that got badly keyed last winter. He borrowed my daily driver, & wouldn't you know that my detroit battlewagon failed inspection(bad tie rod ends & front tires) so had to get it delt with. Be sure you've sent me eMAIL: TO: [email protected] SUBJ: BBQ & anything else you want to say I'll be sending out directions via eMAIL ONLY to those i've received eMAIL from. BTW, anyone know where I can buy whole briskets at a good price? The stores around here have gone to only offering 'flat cut' which is nice, but a bit lean for good BBQ. I prefer 10-12lb whole briskets with about a 1/4" thick fat saddle to baste it while it's smoking.
Hey Verell, Call Butcher Boy in North Andover. They are about the best butcher place around our place. Birdman
Thanks for the info. I have already RSVP'd , so I will wait for driving instructions and our assignment for bringing our contribution. Looking forward to it. I second Birdman's suggestion of Butcher Boy. Good stuff there!
Well, shoot if I don't have to bow out already......I'll be off to PA to celebrate my father's birthday (where's my memory....). Thanks anyway, have fun!

Everything's got a volunteer. If you haven't signed up for something, then don't feel bad, just bring yourself, or anything you think will fit the occasion. Will send out directions tomorrow night to everyone I've received eMAIL from. If you're coming early to help set up, or just kibitz, 10:30 AM would be a good time to arrive. Early enough to help, but will leave time for me to cook the ribs after we get the big grille moved out into the yard.
