Tuna melt - higher quality tuna (like the $1.50 cans), mayo, green olives and swiss cheese. Wheat, rye, or whatever non-white bread, buttered and grilled up.

    Dino...

The cheese needs to go on the bread as soon as it comes out of the toaster... The cheese needs to go on the eggs as soon as they come out of the frying pan... The cheese needs to go on the pork roll as soon as those slices come out of the frying pan... Waste not a moment - the melted cheese is very important... Try again tomorrow - hell, try every day until you taste perfection... :)

One of the best on the planet, bar none, is a sandwich at a joint-0-la in Pittsburgh called Primanti's. Local italian bread, homemade tart cole slaw and homemade fries, topped with your choice of meat, and a fried egg. If you are really macho, you get a bowl of chili on the side. No wonder everybody there is a fat ****.

I used to like subway, and sliced meat in general until I took general biology and the guy showed us slides of bacteria that he said came off fresh deli meat.

Well, I'm a Quiznos man myself...but when at home I like to make a turkey/ham/salami sandwich with white american cheese on Rye bread with a dash of mustard and heavy sprinkle of my favorite garlic salt.

Call me weird, but I love garlic salt. I put it on most everything to liven up the taste.

My favorite "commercial" sandwich is the Ham and Cheese at Cousins. If you have one in your state, near you, check it out.
