Need recomendation for Keyless Entry System

I've had bad luck with transmitter battery life requiring new batteries 3x/yr and with programmable transmitters as they always seem to forget the settings. I don't need nor like horn chirps and honks and parking lite blinks.

I want simple press button - door latch opens/closes. My doors already have reversible solenoids and I only await the transmitter key fob/receiver module. I'm not price sensitive. I want a ROCK SOLID FAILSAFE unit.

What brand/retailer have you had good luck with.

I installd one from Cicuit City, it is working fine for almost 2years now with no problem. It only cost me $110.00 including installation. You may ask them not to hook-up to your light!

 

I've got some experience in this area--installed three of these units total, one in the 308, one in my 328, and one in a Honda.

Stop bending over and messing with keys to unlock your doors. Go with a Keyless Entry system. By far the #1 thing I've done to improve my experience with my 308 and 328.

I've had new actuators and a Crimeguard REC-11+ in my for one year in my 328 and it's awesome.
