I bought my 2000 360 with 20k miles on it. I plan on putting 8k miles a year on it (that's all I drive per year). Mine in 3-4 years will be where this one is. I like seeing these cars with this kind of mileage. These are cars and are meant to be driven.

that is the highest I have seen for a 1999.

There was a 360CS lookalike for sale in Australia with 42,000 miles on the clock. He wanted a crazy price for it too. :) It may have sold or he has kept it because I havent seen it for sale now for a few months. :)

That's only 9,000 more miles than my 2001 360 (I'm the original owner). My car drives fine. No rattles and nothing fell off. Great car to own.

There are others on this site with high mileage modern Ferraris.

I put 10,000 on my old 355 Spider during my 10 months of ownership. Put 8000 miles on my current 360 Spider year-to-date. My 2006 Mercedes "daily driver" is becoming a bit of a garage queen. When I go into the garage and decide which car to use for the daily drive, the fcar often wins. I'm one of the minority in that I would rather enjoy the fcar than worry about resale value. Tim

I know that rumor says these cars don't hold up with high miles, but I have a feeling that if you care for them and keep them properly maintained they should run for quite some time. For those that really know, how many miles can a 360 take before an engine/tranny rebuild is required???? Thanks......Steve

This is very good news. On the surface, it makes one feel better about the longevity of the car. I guess the real question is, how much were the associated maintenance costs? Did it cost a 360, to get this 360 to 50K miles?

I know of one in LA area with well into the 70's and running strong.
It seems so funny that, last week excluded, Ferrari has one of the most reliable engines in F1 for years and yet everyone says the cars are unreliable as if they are still operating under 1960's hand build of 300 units!!
Mine runs better all the time.
