    Ferrari 456 dumped near my house!!!!!!!

    Unlucky....been sat there for about 3 days, not sure if it has gone yet but the please are aware, more and more parts are going missing day by day. The wheels and rear clusters and rear badge have now all gone!!!!!!

    odd tho as no damage to the car, so not crashed as far as i can tell....

    wedged but not crashed...

    sat there for 3 days as well..... police knew about it Monday when they were called.....

    £190k car originally wasn't it?

    worth about £80k that age?

    plates all tally too...

    They got the repair quote on the auto tranny, and burned it for insurance money, instead..........

    It must have had one good forward gear left, no reverse!

    This is a common insurance Fraud. Not applying anything but from the cases that I've seen. People mostly young students who can't afford their car will have people burn their car, and then their back up insurance kicks in and pays off the car. That little thing that they always get askedif you want or not. It adds like $20 in your monthly which incase you don't have a job or ur car burns down or something they pay off whatever it's left.

    Then they also claim the car on their Insurance and receive whatever an amount they had insured it for. When things look this suspesious we know this could be a fraud. Hope this helped!

    So that we'll know that that car is burned...! This way, no one else ever tries to sell another 456 with that serial number...! Check the interior for a matricola plate... Also, check the engine bay for an Assembly Number... I imagine it's all burned beyond recognition though...

    On the plus side, the rear lights look salvagable. Those would make a cool garage decoration.

    Looks like the roof, hood, front fenders are all aluminum. But the doors are steel. That aluminum sure melts and burns, doesn't it?

    ..or the whole front clip was removed before they parked it!

    Pretty common on "lower" cars for a less than reputable Body Shop to "grab and chop" a job like this, burning the remains to remove all prints...

    Ahem......not that I know anything about it.......LOL!

    I'd imagine someone could reverse trace the owner with a full plate like that, is this in the UK?????

    Where abouts in the UK is that? Must be one of the last 456's in the UK. Late 1993 car.

    naaa thats a 2003 plate and yes its in the midlands in the UK!
