Sorry for the crappy pics. Picked the car up today and i fell in love with it quickly. I will have more (better) pics up eventually. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats, thanks for the pictures, I think they are actually very well taken pictures, show of the lines of the QP well.
Holy smokes, my color of preferance for the QP, definately the sexiest sedan on the planet, and it looks like it even isnt trying.
Thanks for the kind comments everyone! I snapped those pictures with my 2MP cellphone camera. I'll have some up later on today or this week with one of my DSLR cameras
Congrats. The QP and def. the Sport are always a good choice. Much easier to fully enjoy that car as well in California than here in NJ due to the weather.
some pics with our other toys...(once again sorry for the crappy pics) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
3 to be exact and that is indeed a flying spur for those who are wondering. Thanks btw! Yes i do need something more agile i must admit. I ado have a GT3 but im still dreaming of owning my first "real" F car ..... or Lambo
hehe...Its simple, just trade one of them in and get you a 360. Congrats on the purchase. I absolutely adore the Quattro, especially in that color. Love the other cars as well, especially the color on the M5. Congrats. john
Nico, Which Bentley have you-GT or Spur? Have you driven the QP enough to make a comparison with the Bentley? What's the F1 like in the QP? I am looking at both cars, but the F1 in the QP scares me. I have a 6 speed in my 360 which is great but I want the luxury of my CL500 in a different car. Would love your input.
If you want the luxury of the CL500 but in a dfifferent car, I'd say go with the Flying Spur, but if you want a luxurious car that is nearly as fun to drive as your 360...buy the Quattroporte
This aspect I well understand but I am also looking for actual hands-on driving experiences. I was today told the auto trans in the QP is the 7 speed BMW tranny, and that it will be available starting with deliveries in April, 2007. So, I am trying to get a feel for the actual physical driving differences/impressions. Anyone?
It's a Flying Spur. The Bentley is not broken in yet. Im going to be babying it til around 1k miles. It's currently at 9xx. The F1 in the new Sport GT is wonderful with the new faster shift times, I assure you there is nothing to be worried about. I have driven the normal Quattroportes and they were kinda sluggish, but with the Sport GT; you feel more of the improved transmission - however, the clutch does still need to be replaced at i believe, somewhere around 20k miles, but that is a typical. Are you more of a speed type of driver? Or rather you have comfort and power at the same time? Let me sum it up for you: If you like to drive fast and get your car moving on the get-go, etc. Get the Sport GT If you like comfort and still want power, I think that the Bentley is appropriate for you. Im assuming you would want the Continental GT since you're coming from a CL500. Oh yeah and whatever you do decide, if you get the Quattroporte make sure it's the Sport GT!
Nico, Cool cars, friend. Question: how is the ride in the Maserati? Is it quiet and comfortable or stiff and noisy, relatively speaking to the Bentley, or other larger sedans. Cheers!
The Maserati rides great. With sport button on, the ride is stiffer than normal; as for noise, nothing is noticeable to me. Without the sport button it's way more comfortable and smooth, noticeable. I would say without sport button on it's amidst quiet and stiff.
