Saw a Tan Maserati heading Eastbound on I-40 Friday Oct 20th in Greensboro NC.
It was still a GREAT weekend from Pinehurst to Berry Hill (http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=126036) and I was the only casualty, at least until I read JRR's thread. Leaving the Carolina Saturday AM, the dreaded clutch bearing squeal started then the slave cylinder went. Managed to drive 4 miles shifting without a clutch and started it twice in gear at stop signs, but the end came when I had to cross a 4-lane highway. I parked it and called AAA while the rest of the crowd waited to make sure everything was OK. After all that and an 80 mile rollback ride home, I still joined everyone at Berry Hill only 30 minutes after they had arrived there. You missed a great day! Bob
Silver gull wing on i85 north bound just north of Salisbury at 445 pm. It was less than a mile from the spot where i saw the yellow 360 yesterday and about the same time. I think i will set on the side of i85 ALL day tomarrow !
Both in Charlotte, NC. I saw a red 360 Spyder on Providence Rd headed into town about 10:20am this morning. Then a yellow F-430 Coupe on Randolph Rd. about 1:30pm on my way home from the appointment resulting in the morning sighting. Everyone's breaking them out for the nice weather in preparation for Roebling (I hope!)
Silver Bentley Continental Gt on 40 around 10:30 and a red with white stripes Cav Gt in Blowing Rock around 1:00.
Me again asking for leads. Any details on this Gallardo spotted in Myrtle Beach? http://exoticspotter.com/list.php?page=4&batch=bt000113/bt000113_353310.jpg&model=all&make=all&location=all
I saw a 355 Challenge, #82 on the Racetrack at Virginia International Raceway Friday afternoon. I also saw two Lotus Exige's (Yellow and a midnight blue one) which I talked to the owner of the Blue one before I headed out back to the house.
This one is more down Peter's alley, but I saw a red Alfa Romeo GTV6 on the beltline. Probably one of the best sounding six cylinders I have ever heard and this car was in far from mint shape. Even if I don't necessarily find the styling appealing, that sound alone would be worth owning one for me.
Was down at the Hilton Head Island Concours this past weekend, saw 4 F-cars. Black '02 360 Modena 6-spd, red '03 360 spider F1, red 348 berlinetta, silver 550 maranello, 2 maseratis -- a red GT coupe cambiocorsa, and a pewter Quattroporte. No Lambos, much to my surprise. But 2 Porsche Carrera GTs, both black, at least a half-dozen turbos -- 996 and 997. 4 Ford GTs (2 white, 1 black, 1 heritage edition). Black Aston Martin Vanquish S, racing green Aston DB7 Vantage coupe, and more Rolls-Royces and Bentleys than anyone could count (at least 5 or 6 Phantoms alone including a madeira red extended wheel-base which was unbelievably huge). Very very high-end show. Always worth it. Sorry guys, didn't take a single pic... I know, I know.
Exige was mine, nice meeting you. Pete, that Copper Carrera was at VIR as well. Didn't see it on track, but I think he was running. Unusual color.
