this is getting interesting...and guess what folks...there will be more people to surface w/ their sordid stories of money lost/stolen. just a matter of time.
To clarify, so there are no misconceptions: I did not purchase a 355C from Aaron, and never intended to. I was holding title only to a car as collateral. The title is not fake. If it is the title to the 355 in questoin in this post, I couldn't tell you. I don't want to get into the details of my personal situation. Its all still a bit unclear, and quite a bit convoluted. To go through it clearly on this board would take too much time, and create more problems. I am in contact with him relatively regularly, and taking baby steps in making it right. Unfortunately, not quite fast enough. The problem is, there is a lot of he said/she said.
Does this mean the F355C package is still for sale? Aaron, if you need some quick cash and can get your hands on the car and title, ring me up. Point of clarification...I thought that Challenge cars were BOS (not titled)? Jim
Hi everyone! I am sorry for disturb here! Do you know how many 355 Challenge were made? (aprox). I am thinking to buy one, but all 355 are in USA!!! I found 3 in Europe, Helsinki, Spain and Denmark. Do you know anyone in Europe? Thank you very much! Enrique.
I don't now if the whole situation is clear in this thread .......car went one direction, title another ...and the money still in a third vector! If I'm reading all this ...it's pretty convoluted, as most schemes are.......... Ask Roland in Cavallino Classic, maybe he'll explain..... If I needed an agent in Europe I'd trust Simon in Switzerland, Wolfgang in Germany....or tonyh in London,UK to hold my money........long time chatters, all. Ferrari of Houston probably has Challenge cars of every year and description....a mountain of damaged ones is against the back fence.
I know Aaron, and I have seen his car. I also know enough not to buy a car unless it has a clear title handed to me at the time of purchase, along with the car itself with matching numbers. When I buy, I fly and take possession of car and title when I hand over the cash. I don't trust anyone with my money. It sounds like Aaron has fallen on some hard luck, but maybe I can help him out and pick up a nice car in the process. Why let the creditors take it and sell it at auction if he can get ahold of the title? Aaron, maybe if you had a better lawyer this mess could have been avoided! (A default judgment? Seizure of property? It's never happenned to one of my clients!) Shame on you!
Those that followed this thread and this car might read the thread below to bring the story all together. Mods, if you feel reference is unnecessary, then delete this post. I recieved an email about this heating back up, would never have thought to look in the So Cal forum. RP http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=141362
i think this bump on this thread is of continued interest to all of us. thank you. btw...i'm certain you will be receiving your p.m. w/ a threat of liable suit to be filed against you shortly. i got mine a while back. lol!
Wow blast from the past. I still have the (or one of the) titles, wishing I had a car to match up to it.
I will get that for you tonight/tomorrow. Last I heard the car went to FL or VA (to one of the 3 buyers..)
Or maybe all 3? All jokes aside. I do hope you resolve all this to your benefit. Ive been following these threads for a bit. What a confusing and unfortunate situation...
Did you get a bad title? Was the title forged? If it was a replacement title, did you get the title first?
hello i am after a ferrari. I see that awhite has one to sell. Can you please reply so I can see what you have to offer?
