Do you gamble online? If yes, which websites? www.pokerroom.com I've done it a few times. Not big money...like $50. Ive done quite well though.
My name is Martin H, and I'm a degenerate gambler PokerStars Party Poker Full Tilt Poker Ultimate Bet and Betfair.com for the occasional sports bet
Party Poker Poker Room Used to work for FullTilt, so i couldn't gamble with them. Lost interest now in the whole thing.
If by "online" you mean going to my online bank account and transfering many thousands of dollars to my turf accountant, then yes!
Not me. No way. But I have a couple good friends that are IMO "addicted" to sports betting online. I'm not sure if they still use a website though, I think they use a bookie now, but it started with bodog.com. That is BAD NEWS. They have lost more money than they can afford for sure, it's sad really, and no matter what I tell them they always know of that "sure win".......
Yes! FullTilt, used to play PokerStars. The money is going good so far, the girlfriend can't complain.
In Texas the sale of lotto tickets go to education & road maintenance so the jury is still out on that one.
Will; the pre-lotto hype said it was to support education. As I understand it the $ goes into the general tax fund not a specific one. The payout is like 30 cents on the dollar after all ; advertising is expensive. That said I did get educated.
A slow day turned into a good idea to gamble online for a few hours. Texas Hold 'em, first hand, dealt pocket aces... lost to 4 Kings and to 3 Queens. It only got worse.
Three years ago, I signed up for this promotion that deposited $50 for free into my PartyPoker account. 5 hours later, I cashed out for $600. WORST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME. After that, I thought I was good at online poker and I've probably ended up losing back close to $2,000. Two summers ago, I decided not to work and play online poker instead. My goal was to net $100 a day playing $5 and $10 heads up sit-n-go's. After the first week, I was right on target. The problem was, the website I was playing on (I think it was Full Tilt) didn't instantly cash you out when you requested to (there was like a 24 hour grace period). Well sure enough, the weekend rolls around and I come home drunk one night and decide to play a couple of $100 heads up matches. Wake up the next morning and I had like $50 left. Lesson learned - I don't have the patience to play online. My live game is pretty decent. I can take down a $1/2 game at the casino no problem. I almost won $120,000 a couple of months back when I hit a royal flush on the river and the other guy had AAQQQ (if he had AAAQQ or better, he would have won the bad beat jackpot, and I would have got 25%).
