Now that's a sweet sight. Saw mine today. She's not too happy with dent puller pins still in her. But I'm promised mine will be ready by end of month. Forza 308!
Wow ...what a unique color...Never saw that before on a 308..or any other F-Car for that matter...what is it called???...looks alomost Plum like..nice pics btw. IMHO the 308/328 will ALWAYS be a stunning car to look at because of those fluid lines. Regards S
It was GREAT seeing you on Saturday and the run wasn't bad either. You should have seen the smile on my face when I noticed you coming up on us! Your gf did a great job on the photos can you send some high res versions to me? By the way, the color is Rosso Rubino Metallic. (Ruby Red Metallic) Great seeing you too Clyde. I am really looking forward to you having your baby back. We have to plan a celebration (a safe one) when the car comes home.
Rosso Rubino is one thing, but I wanna know the true story behind Andy's lower wheel arch flares!!! Perhaps one of one?!?!?! PS: all the cars look wesome.... nice job!
No problem, but I'll have to send them one at a time, because they are 2.5MB each. PM or e-mail me Dave's and Jim's e-mail addresses and I will send the pictures to them as well
Great eyes Greg! Yes they are unique. I have yet to find either another car with them or any explanation of where they came from The interesting thing is that the front flare is metal and the rear flare is fiberglass. Someone went to a lot of trouble to fabricate them because they look like a continuation of the original design - not added on.
we will make a special run Clyde, it will be called WELCOME HOME CLARA RUN.only for you Mr Clyde, we sure do miss you out there.
Great cars guys... I've always loved the 308s. How reliable are they? My dad has been looking to pick one up as a project car, any common problems I should know about? How easy is maitenence?
Mine's for sale. It's not a project car, really, though. It's in really good shape and has just had a major. If your dad wants to work on it, he could possibly get it back to show-winning shape. I'm on vacation out of the country, get back in two days. PM me if you want to discuss. Cheers, J.
I've never actually seen a 308 cook, personally. 355s and 360s are another matter. And that aside, the 308 remains one of the most beautiful, timeless Ferraris ever made. Might not be the fastest thing on the block anymore, but I'd own one (again) in a heartbeat.
In this months issue of Forza...a QV in excellent condition.....$40K As for flaming 308...yeah, they are out there. There's even a vid of a guy filling up a yellow 308 at a gas station when it ignites. This pic is unfortunate, and happened during a race. the series is here on the site somewhere. It's just sad when this happens. Image Unavailable, Please Login

This is another shot shortly after he noticed the flames. Car saved to race another day. *always* have an extinguisher in the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
