Looks similar the Lambo LP640 color the car was debuted in. and in my opinion, while it looks good on the 599, it looks much better on the lambo.
I had a 1977 Ford Thunderbird with T-Tops, Basket Wire wheels, mindblower speakers and the car was triple dove gray. On a Ferrari, I don't know . . . If you give it to me, I would spray paint it red.
I like it, but this is a big mistake - people will just see it as Ferrari copying Lambo's LP640 debut colour.
Yuck, I think Ferrari would do well not to follow in Lambos footsteps in the color department. This really makes the 599 look terrible
Looks grigio ferro to me. But, in any event, you are right. This color is far older than some LP640. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Doesn't matter, some colors should be left in the past...there is a reason most of us have forgotten it is a historically correct color.
What is old will always be new again..... Every auto manufacturer constantly incorporates historical looking designs, colours and details into their new cars. The 599 especially. Take a look at the front grille, and rear tail lights, very 'retro looking' with a modern twist. So this Girgio Scuro color "from the past" just compliments the theme.
Wouldnt get it in this color, but definetley like it. Looks like the that stealthfighter gray on the LP640.
I am happy that the days of red only are over. With variety there will be some that we like and some that we don't. Finally discussion of colour is no longer which rosso. I quite like the look of that 599 but would not be inclined to order it myself - yet! Taste changes
normally i love the grey pallet. not that one though... strange it looks nice on the old model tho.. must be the chrome... GT
