Great model but not exactly correct. I have the 355 world book in my library and the colour of the world tour car was a colour called Rosso Barchetta. This colour was very relevant in the early days of Ferrari, being an Alpha Romeo colour of his first Ferrari badged race car. Also the World tour car has a Tan (brown) interea. The model you have looks like its standard rosso. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have this book too. This is just a first trial on our homemade decal. What do you expect for something which does not available in market?
Accuracy and attention to detail maybe thats after all the name of the modeling game. You clearly have spent a good amount of time making great decals. So to spray the car the correct colour and also to spray the interea the correct colour should really be some thing that should have taken priority IMO. You posted the model up so i am only giving my opinion as to how to really make this model worthy of all the hard work you have put into the decals I even see you have another World Tour book, so you really have no excuse. Looking forward to seeing the next car.
We have spent over 10 months to making the decal set, which is based on a 1/43 BBR F355 World Tour decal sheet.... and converted to 1/18 scale. As I mentioned that it is a trial of decal sheet to see the size is fit or not and further modification on decal is in progress. Check out my collection website and see what we have done on make over 70+ F355 Challenge, F360 Challenge and F430 Challenge models. www.procarz.com
Looks a very impressive collection you have there my friend. Now had you stated in your original post that this was only a trial decal fitment then i would not have been so critical. Sorry for the misunderstanding Funny thing the inter web
Those photos are old now..... I just spent about 110,000USD for a new apartment and converted to a diecast showroom.... show you more photos later.....
Hi Michael, please not, that the journalists who drove the car signed the F 355 Berlinetta as well. Probably you already know that detail. Best wishes Manfred www.mitorosso.de Ferrari Online Magazine
Model looks pretty good, maybe not 100% accurate but good! I wish I had a sticker set for a conversion. great job

I would have one myself in the following original 50th anniversary spec. 1/ Rosso Barchetta. 2/ Tan interior. 3/ Double airflow meter engine (as opposed to the single unit that models have) 4/Standard none drilled rotors. 5/ US style side running lights. 6/ No side indicators. 7/ US style orange front side/indicators, as opposed to white European ones that models have. If not i would buy the badge work any day of the week. There great. check ebay later... maybe 2 weeks, you will see it is up..... We found that the car has different decal when it is in different countries, we are check that how those decals placed on in what countries.... The strange thing is that after check 4 books which is about F355 World Tour, the car seems to have 2 colors, one is the Wine red (Dark Red) and the other one is in normal red color. Do you have any information of this car?
