Time for a change. I decided to go for an "old school" turbo car, since F40s have become so "common" around Seattle. Traded my 512BBi in towards a "1985 288 GTO." Rosso Corsa/Black. All original, except for a Tubi Exhaust. 12K miles, freshly serviced. It should be arriving here next week!!! I just noticed that the clutch pedal appears to be absent in the interior photo of the 288. Is this some sort of VALEO conversion?
Holy Crap! Gary, if you bought that.... that is one GORGEOUS car!!! If it's an April Fool's joke, you got me Hook, Line, Bobber and Sinker! ;-) Mike
Joke or not, I believe that in 100 years or so the 288 GTO will be considered the best looking Ferrari of all time.
OH.... you mean the "F50" that I bought a few years ago on the same day? http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54159 I'm going to park the 288 GTO next to it in my garage. Happy APRIL 1st!!!!!! Gary
My wife keeps telling me she bought a new car today too. Of course i don't believe it, but still, she's nearly as crazy as me which makes these kinds of things too hard to decipher anymore. And I know for sure she was at the dealer because her car had some scheduled maintenance. Hmmm.
Wow... that's awesome! I. too became an owner today. I'd never seen a 430 in Lamborghini Verde Ithaca, but I just had to have it... See you all in Cannon Beach! -Tad Image Unavailable, Please Login
I just ordered my new 612! I'd love to hear what everyone thinks... I'm also considering a two tone exterior-- green, with a red hood and roof. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
