    Hi Everyone - my life long dream of owning a Ferrari has finally come. I can't convey how happy I have been for the last 2 days. This car came from Chicago and is now in my possession in Nova Scotia, Canada. It starts, idles and screams to 7500 perfectly. The sound, power and performance is better than I envisioned. The body was everything the owner said it was (bought it sight unseen with 3rd party PPI) with no paint work. Just 4 touch ups from rock chips. The driver side bolster is about 8.5 out of 10 and the passenger side is perfect. Second gear is fluid-like but the car does have to be warm for a clean shift. Car does not smoke at all (I can't tell you how much I was worried looking at the exhaust the moment the truck driver started it up to take it off the truck). When I heard it idle and saw no smoke it was weeks of worry off my shoulders. The windscreen has no pits or scratches and all the glass is really clean. The interior is beautiful with the exception of a lot of plastics having a sticky film all over the surface. The car has 27818 miles on it. I am the 3rd and probably the final owner of this car. I will be performing the 30k engine out service myself and I am looking as forward to doing it as I am driving it! I want to get to know the essence of the inner workings of this Ferrari. At this point I want to thank eveyone on this board for the selfless help you have given me during the purchasing peroid. It was brutal. Thanks. Below are a few picks of the delivery. Troy.

    hey congrats, how complicated was the importing process. how good of a deal did you get for the car?

    looks amazing. enjoy the roads in nova scotia

    Congrats on the new Ferrari! It looks very nice. First thing for the 'to do' list? Swap your rear wheels around so they are correct. Luckily item #1 is a freebie! Happy driving!

    Welcome!!!! I've been to Halifax a couple of times, during the warmer weather, it must be great to drive a 348 on some of those Nova Scotia roads.

    Hey thanks for the welcoming words you guys. I feel like I know most of you as I have been up and down this board for the last few years. I still can't get over the fact that this car is in my garage! Yeah, I know the rear tires are backward - thanks.

    348's are fun

    very reliable and rea$onable to maintain

    and don't go up in flames :)

    rear rims are on wrong (sorry.....had to throw that in ;) )
