    Hi Lads and Lasses

Can you help me with a few questions on my 3.2 Mondi

    1. The lower fin on the side intake of my Mondial has been broken i.e the lug on the back which pushes into the body.

Has anybody got a fix for this type of problem.

    2. The rubber side spoiler on the rear pillars, how many nuts hold them on ? and where ?

I have found the 2 lower nuts in the boot, I have now also found 1 at the top inside, is that it or is there more ?

    3. Does anyone know of a source for rear screens.

    4. Oh, where can I find the Trim Screws and their cups.

    Cheers

    Neil.

Whats wrong with your rear screen, has it clouded yellow in the bottom corners as this seems to be a common problem from engine heat. I was going to get a lightweight perspex one made so mine will be available (but with those annoying yellow bits).

Which trim screws & cups do you need, as I have removed all my interior and have loads of boxes of spare screws etc...

The rear screen is delaminating, you know that milky white stuff in the corners.

The screws are those small black ones with small brass cups which hold the lower door panels on.

Yeah the black side spoiler was twisted and the lug was bent and thats why it would not sit snug.

This is an old pic as I have my old seats in it.

It looks like the laminate where the heated centre part is comes apart due to the heat from the engine, mine has gone yellow.

I'm not that bothered as I will hopefully be getting a lightweight polycarbonate rear screen made up,

The door cards were the first thing I removed as part of my project. I will hunt some out. If you can check if they are the same as the trim ones round the rear windows etc... as I know i have loads of those ones.

If you let me know how many you need and i'll send you them.

I would guess around £150-£200. They would need a rear screen to use as a template.

    The company is:

    http://www.plastics4performance.co.uk/

I had my side windows with sliders made up by them and the rear quarters have Nacar ducts in them.

Paul is the boss and hes a really friendly chap.

Yes they are the ones, do you have any of the plastic plugs that also hold the inside boot cover on, all the ones in halfords and on the net are to big i.e the bit that pushes into not the head.

Thank for the details on the rear screen also £200 is a good price.

    Cheers

No problem, let me know how many you want and i'll send you them.

Which ones are they?, from memory the boot lining was held in with those black self tapping screws with black washer cups. If you can post a pic of one I can look.

I am guessing at that but give him a call. If you could send them yours that would be great as I wasn't planning on getting mine taken out yet with all the other work I have on it at the mo. I would gladly contribute to the postage.

That would work better with me as well, as I have a million and one other things to do to the car with limited finances.
